Nuclear Resistant Rubber (Radiation Resistant) |
Nuclear-resistant rubber is a type of specialty rubber that can withstand high-energy radiation. Under γ and β radiation, the molecular chains do not break or undergo cross-linking reactions, allowing the rubber to maintain its original physical properties. It serves the dual purpose of sealing and resisting erosion from high-energy radiation. Our division has developed nuclear-resistant rubber sealing products that can withstand four overlapping aging factors (high temperature, radiation, mechanical (cyclic) fatigue, and LOCA). We are a leader domestically and internationally in this field and these products can be used in various high-energy radiation environments such as nuclear reactors, nuclear power systems, chemical industry, medical equipment, and nuclear weapons. |
